Fundraising Walk &Talk for Syria
Saturday March 18th 2017 

11am to 1.30pm

Join us for this shamrock refreshing event!


Glenfarne Forest & Rainbow Ballroom 

of Romance, Leitrim

Walk :
Starts at 11am from the Rainbow Ballroom of Romance and takes approximately one hour to and from the lakeshore of Lough McNean in Glenfarne Forest. See fabulous views across the lake to Cavan and Fermanagh


Talk 
Directly after the walk in The Rainbow Ballroom you can hear a little about Syria from 

Rola Eldahouk is an Irish-Syrian living in Sligo for the past eight years. Rola will tell her story including how moving to Ireland changed her life. She will also talk about Syria today, some of her family are still there.


Refreshments
Enjoy good Leitrim hospitality with home made soup, brown bread, biccies and a cuppa while listening to traditional Irish music from our local Comhaltas group

Funds:
Funds raised will go to Medecins Sans Frontieres’ (MSF) Emergency Appeal for Syria, 100% of all money collected will go directly to Syria.
